The Computation, Learning, and Development Lab, led by Principal Investigator Kate Nussenbaum, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Research Technician. Our lab conducts research with human participants to explore developmental changes in value-guided learning, memory, and exploration from childhood to early adulthood. This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in research, from conceptualization to execution, while contributing to the daily operations of a dynamic academic lab.
Key Responsibilities
As a Research Technician, you will:
Conduct behavioral and neuroimaging experiments (including eye-tracking and fMRI) with children, adolescents, and young adults. Organize and analyze experimental data. Spearhead participant recruitment efforts to support ongoing studies. Train and manage undergraduate researchers. Prepare research findings for scientific publications and presentations. Oversee general lab organization, including IRB protocols and administrative tasks.
