We're looking for an enthusiastic individual to help day-to-day research cytogenetics operations in MCCF. This is an excellent opportunity for an entry-level researcher to gain first-hand experience in MSKCC’s ground breaking cancer biology research!
Role Overview:
Cell culture of research samplesHelping with sample preparation for DNA-FISH and karyotypingAiding cytogeneticists with scoring FISH and karyotyping samplesMaintaining lab space and cleaning lab equipmentHelping maintain reagent stocksKey Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Biology/life sciencesAlthough previous experience with cytogenetics assays will be advantageous, full training will be provided.
