The Ted Ross Lab focuses on developing vaccines against cancer and respiratory viruses, including influenza, COVID, respiratory syncytial virus, as well as HIV and arboviruses. **A caregiver in this position works 8:00am - 5:00pm.** A caregiver who excels in this role will: + Participate in daily research project activities. + Plan, organize, perform and monitor daily project protocols. + Collect, prepare and maintain required research documentation, including informed consent records, case records, clinical notes and medical reports. + Report and assist with managing protocol deviations, adverse events and other project-related issues. + Be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the lab. + Order and purchase supplies, gather information on new equipment and recommend purchases. Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + High school diploma or GED. + Four years of experience in a research or related laboratory environment. + An associate's degree and three years of experience, a bachelor's degree and two years of experience or a master's degree and one year of experience may substitute the experience requirement. Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: + Bachelor's degree with undergraduate lab experience.
