**About the Team**
The Research & Development & Thought Leadership team, part of Pearson’s Chief Strategy Office, is at the forefront of shaping the future of education and work. The team delivers a multi-year research and thought leadership agenda designed to position Pearson as a trusted authority and support its long-term strategy.
Our focus includes:
+ **Driving thought leadership** : Building Pearson’s reputation as a leader in education, learning, and the future of work.
+ **Creating actionable insights** : Developing well-researched, evidence-based insights on emerging trends like AI in education and the future of skills.
+ **Supporting business growth** : Translating research into impactful strategies for product development, marketing, and policy advocacy.
We are seeking a **Research & Thought Leadership Strategist** to help shape and deliver this ambitious vision.
**About the Role**
As a Research & Thought Leadership Strategist, you will:
+ Scope and execute thought leadership and research projects aligned with the team’s agenda.
+ Collaborate with internal experts and stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.
+ Lead the delivery of high-impact projects on topics such as AI in education and workplace learning.
+ Build and maintain relationships with external research partners and stakeholders.
+ Develop reports, articles, and presentations that synthesize research into compelling narratives for internal and external audiences.
+ Work across teams to translate thought leadership outputs into actionable strategies for product development, marketing, and policy.
+ Measure the impact of research and refine processes to scale the team’s work.

+ **Experience and education** : A bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in education, business consulting, or a large, matrixed organization.

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York State, New York City, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:
The minimum full-time salary range is between $100,000 - $130,000.
This position is eligible to participate in an annual incentive program, and information on benefits offered is Employee Benefits Guide 2025.

**Location and Travel**
This role is open to candidates based in USA & UK. Occasional international travel may be required.
