Job DescriptionAs a Researcher, you will coordinate with and support management, control rooms, and field teams to ensure live reporter hits get to air. This position works within the Assignment Desk located in NBC's Washington D.C. Bureau.

Confirm and coordinate logistics for DC live requests (including guest bookings) for all NBC platforms – this includes communicating directly with correspondents, field teams, various bureaus, the Netdesk and show teams in real timeWork in tandem with the DC assignment desk on editorial planning for next day live assignmentsFlag relevant feeds and editorial to show control rooms in real timeBe well-versed in the editorial of the day; in breaking news, anticipate reporter requests, coordinate last minute live requests and problem solve on tight deadlinesWork in tandem with assignment desk on crewingPitch stories, conduct research for packages, assist producers on reporter offersWork in the field as neededQualificationsBasic Qualifications:
