Reservation Host (Local Only) - Hyatt House Kuala Lumpur Mont Kiara

We are currently looking for individual with excellent customer service, able to multitask and grab the opportunity to turn enquiry into business We want someone who is able to ensure fast and efficient response to all reservation channels, while ensuring the accuracy of room availability and reservation records

Qualifications:

Education: Certificate or Higher Education Levels in Hospitality and Tourism Management or any major related field

Language Skills: A good working knowledge of English Language/ Proficiency in local language may be required

Experience: Relevant work experience in hotel operations is an advantage

Strong interpersonal communication skills

Ability to do multi-tasking

Desire to drive revenue and committed to the growth of the hotel

Requirements:

· To deal efficiently and politely with all telephone, email, internet and ‘in person’ enquiries.

· To liaise with clients and customers to coordinate corporate events whilst building rapport and creating professional relationships.

· To ensure that all work meets company standards and is according to training given; all function paperwork must be accurate and complete, including catering requirements, guest preferences, booking supplements and payment details.

· To create and/or extract daily reservations reports from OPERA and Hyatt Reserve systems regularly or upon request for all respective departments.

· To have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the operation of the business including all food and drink menus ensuring the ability to provide a thorough response to customer enquiries.

· To undertake general administration duties.

· To answer incoming calls and places outgoing calls according to Hyatt telephone standard, procedure and etiquette.

· Always be polite and courteous while answering calls.

· To ensure that information provided to callers is precise and within the boundaries set by the hotel.

· To direct calls to guest rooms, staff, or departments through the designated switchboard or PBX system.

· To receive guest messages and deliver the same to the guest.
