DescriptionThe incumbent of this position is responsible to materialize the maximum number of requests and reservations. 

The Reservations Agent will work to ensure that Kempinski Reservation standards are implemented and complied to; that all relevant data is entered and maintained in the systems in a timely and accurate manner, and that it is reviewed on an ongoing basis.

Key Responsibilities\nEnsure that all potential customers' queries and leads are tended to and followed up in a timely manner.\nReview daily reservation accuracy, rate compliance from segment and source, system close-out when necessary and rate availability.\nEnsure clients’ satisfaction and adherence to Kempinski service standards.\nFollow internal credit policy.\nFollow up on lost business and bring information about them to the knowledge of the department superiors.\nSpot-check reservations made the previous day and check all VIP arrivals.\n 


Job Requirements\nEDUCATION:\nEquivalent of high school diploma\nProfessional Certification (Bachelor, University Degree, Hotel School Diploma)\n EXPERIENCE:\nOpera central systems knowledge\nKnowledge of either Fidelio V6 or Opera PMS is imperative \n \nLANGUAGE: \nEnglish – excellent oral and written skills\nMaltese, German, Spanish, Italian, French - beneficial\n COMPETENCIES:\nDetail orientated\nGood communicator\nGood listening skills\nDemonstrate energy and enthusiasm\nAbility to investigate systems malfunctions or user-input errors\nAbility to work under pressure\n TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:Good Keyboard skills and proven working knowledge of Microsoft Office to include MSWord, MSExcel and PMS, OperA\n
