Reservoir Engineer / Advisor II

Airswift is working with a leading Oil and Gas company to find a Reservoir Engineer to join their team in a 12-month contract in Plano, TX with benefits. (Rotational schedule 5/2 for non local) (Must have authorization to work in the US)
Description:
Work on a technical team supporting all facets of the organization.
Identify, design, and evaluate development projects to improve corporate value.
Complete accurate, efficient technical analysis on a variety of different fields and topics.
Utilize company and industry expertise to leverage the value across the company.
Ensure reservoir engineering consistency across asset & development teams.
Monitor flood performance through pattern reviews optimizing CO2 purchase volumes and injection schedules.
Frequently communicate information and to manage the possible stress of an office environment
Frequently stationary for long periods of time, with occasional movement about the office
Constant operation and viewing of a computer screen and other office machinery
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds is required
Frequent alpha/numeric keyboarding
Oral communication over the phone, video, and in person
Quarterly travel to district and field offices and/or oil and gas production facilities
Occasional use of personal protective equipment
Experience:
5yrs petroleum experience or relevant work history
1+ yrs functional Reservoir Engineer experience
Experience in EOR processes such as water flooding, CO2 flooding, WAG flooding, or gas flooding desired.
Experienced user of economics and surveillance software; DSS and Aries strongly preferred.
Strong business acumen and an understanding of project economics
Project management skills and can prioritize work and schedule accordingly
Demonstrated ability to recognize and solve problems working with others.
Must be able to speak, read, and write in English fluently.
Good communication skills – articulates well and conveys clear objectives
