Your Role

 

You’ll support the Residence Manager in running a smooth, efficient department while ensuring top-notch customer service for our students. As a live in role, your focus will be on creating a welcoming and lively home from home environment, maintaining EF's high standards, ensuring health and safety protocols are followed. You’ll also assist with administrative tasks, help with student inquiries, and liaise with local suppliers, all while promoting the best image of our school within the community.

 

This position is full time, with either a Tuesday – Saturday or Sunday – Thursday schedule and due to the nature of the role hours may vary. As a live in position, accommodation is provided at no extra cost.

 

This is a full-time, fixed-term role lasting until October 2025, with the possibility of transitioning into a permanent position.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Live in EF residential accommodation and oversee comfort, safety, and conduct of students on and out of school hours ensuring residence advisor duties such as room checks, curfew, and activities in the residence are in placeTo support the Residence Manager in running an efficient departmentTo ensure the highest level of customer service and satisfaction is delivered to studentsTo ensure Weekends are run smoothly and residence assistants are supportedTo support students in their daily life and enable them to achieve the best experience and highest learning possibleTo organize work processes and shifts/delegate duties between residential advisorsTo ensure standards of rooms and quality of service are maintained by conducting weekly building checks, checking, and updating posters and signs when appropriateTo advocate for a fun and lively environment within campus by organising Weekend residence tour, welcoming and departure students, and promoting activitiesTo assist with administration tasks by having accurate lists with important information to support the team and suppliersTo assist students with general enquiries and take appropriate action in the event of student misconduct, addressing concerns with relevant school staffTo ensure Safeguarding procedures are in place and concerns are shared with relevant school staffTo follow EF procedures and take responsibility for fire safetySchool emergency phone duty on rota basis
