Job DescriptionThis is a professional position involving management and/or oversight of the specialty specific graduate medical education (GME) training program(s) and program accreditation while working independently under the general direction of the Department Manager and/or Chairman/Program Director. This position requires extensive knowledge and expertise with policies and procedures of the University of Missouri-Kansas City (sponsoring institution for GME), the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS), the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP), RRC, relevant specialty boards, and other academic and governmental organizations.Minimum RequirementsBachelor's degree required in a related field such as health sciences, business, public administration, or education.One year’s experience in University Health Coordinator position.Possess critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skillsDemonstrates proficiency in technology utilized in program administration (i.e. PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Publisher, New Innovations, etc.)Demonstrate superior organization skills, collegiality, and adherence to critical deadlines.An understanding of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requirements and the accreditation process.Preferred SkillsTAGME certifiedMaster’s Degree in a related field such as health sciences, business, public administration, or education.
