Job Summary
The Overnight Residential Advisor will provide residential clients with supportive services in a positive and nurturing environment using an integrated, multidisciplinary team approach.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Responsibilities to include but not limited to the following)
Assist in the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of the clients' holistic plan Maintain documentation of clients' activities on the unit and during their residency with the Agency Monitor client activities to ensure a safe and secure environment and conduct room searches Provide group support services such as escorting clients to the cafeteria for meals, recreation, group therapy sessions, and special activities Participate in team, case-management, and staff meetings Generate a monthly report and contract documentation as needed by the case manager and social worker Conduct workshops on various life-skill issues, such as hygiene, anger management, self-esteem, and problem-solving Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to provide proper coverage of the unit Professional Development and Embracing CHNYs Mission Performs other duties as assigned and needed.
