Ebenezer managed Amira Choice Assisted Living/Memory Care and Independent Living in Sarasota, FL is looking for a Resident Assistant who will provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior age residents' physical and emotional well-being.

 

This caregiver/resident assistant schedule includes:

45 hours every pay periodevening shift

Week 1: Mon,Wed, Fri. 

Week 2: Mon, Tue, Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun

This position is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services to enhance and/or maintain the residents' physical and emotional wellbeing.

Job Duties:

Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staffAssists with onboarding of new staff

 

Qualifications:
Required:

Ability to communicate optimally, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkersAbility to work in a team setting and support othersCuriosity to work with a diverse and older populationCNA certificated if under 18

Preferred:

High School diploma or GED or completion of a formal CNA or HHA coursePrevious work experience as HHA, CNA, NA, DSP, PCA
