Wage determinations will be based on similar experience.Additional pay when working evening/overnight shifts!

We are looking for a Resident Assistant whom would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior residents’ physical and emotional well-being for our vibrant and busy assisted living in Brooklyn Center, MN. As well, will be given on the job training to be able to pass medications. No CNA/NAR required, unless under 18 years old.

This caregiver schedule includes;

The Sanctuary of Brooklyn Center is managed by Ebenezer, Minnesota’s largest senior housing operator.  We are located near public transportation and crossroads of I-694, I-94 and Highway 100 in Brooklyn Center, MN.  The Sanctuary provides programming around our residents emotional, intellectual, social and spiritual needs. Our Brooklyn Center community host 158 units in combination of Assisted Living and Memory Care. Responsibilities/Job Description Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts.Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse.May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities.Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staffAssists with onboarding of new staff Qualifications

Required Skills:

Ability to communicate optimally, with compassion and kindness for residents and coworkersAbility to work in a team setting and support othersCuriosity to work with a diverse and older populationMust be 18 years or older

Preferred Education/Experience/Skills:
