Resident Boarding Assistant Job

Are you recent graduate looking for a fantastic experience of working within a boarding school in a rewarding role where all bills and accommodation are paid for?

Founded in 1863 this college is and independent co-educational day and boarding school providing quality education to children aged from 2 – 18 years. They currently have around 500 pupils the majority of whom are from the midlands with a large international presence.

They are looking for an enthusiastic and engaging resident boarding assistant to join their team for the academic year September 2025 – July 2026

The Role:

To share the responsibility for the health and safety, well-being and safeguarding of all pupils To promote high standards of punctuality, behaviour and good manners with all pupils, taking appropriate action where necessary. To be fully aware of the colleges policies and procedures relating to the behaviour of and safeguarding of young people and act in accordance with these. Contributes to the boarding house rota Carries out all house routines and registers as specified by the housemaster/mistress. Is resident on duty days and weekends Mentors the boarders academically and personally When on duty supervises boarders by being a visible presence in the house

Salary: Up to £16,000 GPA (depending on experience)
