Responsibilities

ACCOUNTABILITY OBJECTIVE:

Directs, oversees, and manages the nursing services provided to the residents of the community and provides care as indicated

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensure the resident is at the center of every decision that is madeEnsure compliance with State and Federal RegulationsEnsures adoption of Diversicare policies, guidelines and standardsEnsures all elements of the Diversicare culture are embedded in the daily operation of the communityPartners with the resident and family to develop, coordinate and maintain the plan of care based on individual needs.Oversee the delivery of care to ensure emotional, physical, psychological and safety needs are identified and metEnsure program services and activities meet the satisfaction of the residents, families, physicians and other partnersProvides resident careCompletes and updates resident assessments/evaluations to determine levels of care Manages and coordinates the nursing team membersCollaborates with the Executive Director to ensure an effective Workforce Management Program is in place including but not limited to timely performance management; recruitment; retention; onboarding; orientation; training and Team Member engagement.In collaboration with the Executive Director, effective stewardship is in place to meet budgetary commitments.Seeks assistance and works collaboratively with Regional and BSC Support TeamsOther duties as assigned by Executive Director or DNS Qualifications

BACKGROUND/QUALIFICATIONS:

 

LPN/LVN or RN licensureExperience in the Assisted Living settingDemonstrated ability to manage team performance in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated strength in communication, organization, planning and management.
