The Resident Care Manager @ The Kensington directs, coordinates, and supervises care services provided by care associates for the residents within the Assisted Living Department. Responsible for ensuring exemplary service is delivered with integrity, dignity, and compassion. May be responsible for medication control and coordination with physicians to ensure care and medications are delivered as directed. Responsible for the delivery of high-quality care by encouraging independence and ensuring each resident’s physical, social, cultural, and intellectual well-being.

 

This is a full-time, salaried position: Tuesday-Saturday OR Sunday-Thursday. 

Pay range: $80-85k/yr 

 

MUST POSSES ACTIVE NURSE LICENSE

 

 

What will I do everyday?

 

Responsible for monitoring and evaluating assigned residents and regularly assess levels of care,
whenever there is a change in condition and/or to determine whether a resident is no longer
appropriate for the setting, notifying Assistant Living Director as requiredAssist residents with simple requests as needed or find appropriate associate to assistResponsible for effectively supervising departmental operations as directed on a day-to-day basis
under the guidance of the department director or Executive DirectorResponds in a tactful and timely manner to all residents, family members and/or staffMay be responsible for supervising resident medication programsMay be asked to monitor all physician orders and ensures they have been followed timely and
accuratelyResponsible for assisting with scheduling for Care associatesPerforms other related duties as required

 

 

What will I need to be successful in this role?

 

Previous supervisory experience preferredHigh school graduate required; college course work preferredLicensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is requiredOne to three years’ experience working in senior care

 

 

Special Certifications/Requirements I may need? 

 

Must have appropriate State license required by law CPR Certified preferredBasic competency in the use of multiple forms of technology, including Microsoft Office
applications, internet-based and customAbility to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed
