Join La Vida Llena’s Skilled Nursing team as our Resident Care Manager / Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)—a dynamic hybrid role that combines the heart of resident care with the vision of leadership. In this vital position, you'll partner with the Director of Nursing to lead and support the clinical team while driving top-quality care for our residents. From hands-on coordination with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) to mentoring nursing staff and designing educational programs, you’ll help shape a culture of excellence, learning, and compassion. Wages: $90,000 - $110,000 / annual DOE What You’ll Do: Collaborate with the Director of Nursing in training, coaching, and developing nursing staff Oversee the coordination and implementation of educational programs and health services Ensure clinical compliance with state, federal, and local regulations for skilled nursing care Partner with the IDT to create and execute care plans that meet residents' physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs Foster a supportive and growth-oriented environment for nursing staff Act as a clinical leader and role model in a fast-paced, resident-focused setting About You: Current RN licensure (and LPN?) in good standing in New Mexico Previous leadership experience in a skilled nursing setting (ADON experience preferred) Strong understanding of MDS, care planning, and regulatory compliance Passion for mentoring others and enhancing quality of life for seniors Must pass a criminal background check, meet health requirements, and provide TB test clearance What We Offer at La Vida Llena: Medical insurance – employee premiums paid at 90% - PPO or HDHP/HSA plans available Dental and vision insurance options Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – 6 free sessions per year 25k of Life/AD&D insurance, 100% paid by us!
