*Resident - Chaplaincy-Flat Rate (FT - Rotating - Methodist)

Serves as an opportunity for religious professionals to develop competence in health care ministry and to provide pastoral care in assigned areas through day and night on-call rotation, and participation in self-directed and group learning process. Engages in a professional healthcare setting and aids in the preparation of the materials required for board certification. Incumbents completing a fellowship will train in a field of special interest, such as palliative care, ethics, caring for the marginalized, pediatrics, behavioral health, community engagement, leadership and trauma. 

Bachelor's Degree required. Master's in Divinity, Master's in Theology, or equivalent degree preferred. Requires affiliation in a religious community. Fellows Only - Requires successful completion of a Clinical Pastoral Education Residency (total of 4 Level I and Level II units) in a center accredited by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education. Fellows Only - Ability to conduct Chaplain research and incorporate ethics into practice required.
