In the role of Resident Project Representative 2, we'll count on you to:
Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications, and identify discrepancies or conflicts within the documentsMaintain accurate daily records of the contractor’s daily activities and the work performed, and of the labor, equipment and materials usedReview construction materials for Contract complianceTrack quantities and develop pay estimates for acceptanceAttend and/or chair construction progress meetingsConduct observations of the installation and acceptance testing of completed equipment and systemsIdentify nonconforming work, develop project punchlists and maintain until correctedDevelop record documentation for engineer review/acceptanceAssist with project audit/closeoutWork under general supervision of a Construction Project ManagerSupervise and direct the activities of junior Resident Project Representatives and Construction Inspectors, testing services and subconsultantsPosition requires being onsite at the project full time #LI-JF1Keywords: Resident Project Representative 2, Water/Wastewater, CPM, CCM, construction
Preferred QualificationsProfessional Engineer (PE) license or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certificationExperience in Water/Wastewater constructionBasic knowledge of CPM scheduling (Primavera P6) and cost estimatingRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or combination of education and relevant experience A minimum of 5 years progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects Must have a fundamental understanding of contracts and familiarity with codes and laws governing construction Must possess the ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies or conflicts within documents Must be able to work in a team environment Must be computer literate, experience with Microsoft Office, Primavera, or related construction packages Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
