General Purpose
The Residential Controller is responsible for managing the accounting and financial reporting functions for over 200 residential properties, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all financial records. This strategic leadership role requires a deep expertise in financial management, a data-driven approach to decision-making, and a strong commitment to operational excellence. The Residential Controller leads a team of 15-20 accounting professionals, driving the development and execution of key financial processes, controls, and systems. This role serves as a critical liaison between senior management, clients, and internal teams, aligning accounting practices with business objectives, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join an expanding team. The Senior Accountant is responsible for reviewing and maintaining accurate books and records for a portfolio of multi- family properties. This position provides guidance and support to our outsourcing partner who is responsible for the daily activity and preparation of monthly financial statements

Minimum 8 years of experience with practical experience in Real Estate accounting and/or Property ManagementMinimum 5 years in a leadership role overseeing a team and managing client relationshipsExperience with Yardi is required Experience in cash management, forecasting and planningEducation:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required from an accredited four-year university (MBA or Master’s preferred)CPA or similar professional designation preferred
