The Role: 

Maintain current knowledge of applicable laws and regulations. Maintain a positive relationship with representatives of government agencies who survey and inspect the community.  Supervise assigned department directors, attend and participate in department director meetings.  Meet with residents to solve problems and concerns, assist in determining when a higher level of care is needed.  Assist in developing budget, prepare monthly financial analysis and cash flows, and approve purchase orders.  Monitor in-service education for employees. Assist director of operations, administrator/executive director, and marketing team with occupancy development.  Conduct special projects as assigned by the executive director.

Marketing & Sales Leadership: 

Understand and have the ability to influence sales culture  Hold sales teams accountable to utilization of sales systems and standard

Specific Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 

The technical knowledge required is best obtained through BS or MS degree in business, health care, hotel/restaurant management, or closely related area.  A minimum of 7 years of experience in health care, or life plan community is preferred. CA RCFE license preferred or the willingness to obtain one. Background knowledge in financial management.  A broad understanding of federal and state laws related to the operation of the community.  Ability to effectively supervise staff members and to work cooperatively as part of a team.

Travel Frequency: 10% 

Estimated Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000

The actual title & salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
