Responsibilities: + Mentorship:Develop meaningful connections with students, offering guidance and support in their personal and academic growth. Be a positive role model, fostering an environment that encourages self-discovery and personal responsibility. + Community Building:Cultivate a sense of community within the residence halls. Organize and participate in activities that promote a positive and inclusive living environment, ensuring that every student feels a sense of belonging. + Conflict Resolution:Proactively address conflicts and challenges among students, promoting effective communication and resolution. Act as a mediator, creating an atmosphere of understanding and cooperation. + Safety and Well-being:Prioritize the safety and well-being of students within the residential setting. Implement and enforce policies to create a secure and supportive living environment. + Collaboration:Work closely with other departments to support the holistic development of students. Collaborate with academic and recreational advisors to ensure a seamless and integrated approach to student success. Your passion can be the catalyst for transformative change! Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degrees preferred. A minimum of one-year Job Corps or related program experience required. A valid in-State Driver’s License preferred. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching.
