This is not a sales position, nor are we an energy supplier/seller. Our team of passionate, skilled energy efficiency professionals work with local utility programs to deliver FREE Energy Conservation programs in our communities.  Through the work that we do, we are changing the way people use energy .

As an Energy Auditor, you will travel in a company provided vehicle within Indiana County to meet with residential customers in their home to complete residential energy audits. There is no overnight travel.

You’re a great fit if you can…

Learn to conduct home energy assessments & evaluations

Install Energy Saving measures including; Light bulbs, Nightlights, Smart Power Strips, Faucet Aerators, Showerheads, Smoke and CO detectors according to program guidelines

Perform testing of appliances for efficiency

Record and report necessary data by electronic or manual methods to adhere to program requirements

Troubleshoot technical problems that you may encounter during the installation of energy efficiency measures

Act as a local, customer-facing program & company representative to customers to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers to energy savings

Exciting candidates have…

0-1 year of industry experience (ie: construction, energy efficiency)

High school diploma or GED

BPI Certification required (or must obtain within 3-6 months; training provided)

Strong communication skills with a positive attitude

Comfortable with in-home consulting

Quick learner, adaptable in dynamic situations

Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and clean driving record 

Physical Demands/Requirements

Able to work in the elements including extreme hot and cold weather

Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods 

Frequent crawling, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, and reaching (including in crawl spaces and under mobile homes)

Repetitive hand motions; use of basic hand and power tools

Comfortable using ladders up to 3 stories

Lift, carry, or push up to 50 lbs when needed

Targeted Compensation:

$18.50 - $21.75 hour
