Starting Rate: $48,880

Based on the clinical need of this program this is a male-only environment and we are looking for male candidates.

 

Program Managers oversee the day-to-day operations of residential program, providing leadership, guidance, and clinical support. As a program manager, you will ensure a safe and welcoming environment where individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities are treated with dignity and respect. The program manager is responsible for coordinating any services needed by the residents, such as appointments and assistive technology. You will be responsible for upkeep of the program, monitoring the program’s budget, and medication administration and management. The program manager also manages the staff schedule to ensure program coverage and serves on-call as needed. The program manager monitors trainings for all program staff and conducts regular staff meetings. Program managers work closely with parents and/or guardians to best support each resident. Additionally, program managers plan outings for program residents. 

 

Minimum Education Required High School Diploma/GED Additional Shift Details Monday- Friday 8:30am-4:30pm Responsibilities Demonstrate knowledge of, and commitment to, agency mission and values. Promote the mission and values of HMEA through effective leadership. Maintain accurate and complete records and data necessary to meet the requirements of HMEA and other certifying or regulatory agencies. Manage program and consumer funds in accordance with HMEA policies and procedures. Maintain agency standards for confidentiality. Represent HMEA and the individuals supported in a positive and professional manner at all times. Demonstrate effective use of analytical skills, past experience and logic in order to render sound and objective decisions. Promote teamwork; practice open communication and respect diversity. Hire, train and supervise support staff. Meet with support staff on a routine and regular basis as a group and individually. Develop schedules and opportunities for volunteer and/or community act ivies that are appropriate and meaningful to the individuals supported. Assist and guide support staff to develop skills required for professional growth. Ensure adequate staffing at all times. Ensure required documentation, including assessments and evaluations, in a timely and professional manner. Communicate significant events to the Residential Coordinator in a timely manner. Complete required training and maintain certifications. Promote the health and well-being of the individual supported through ensuring quality health care and opportunities for healthy lifestyles and choices. Assist with the development and implementation of ISP goals and objectives, behavior support strategies and therapy services for individuals supported. Ensure the home is well maintained and promotes a positive image. Encourage and support individuals in making independent choices to the greatest extent possible. Support the individuals to develop and maintain desired relationships. Perform other reasonably related duties as assigned.

Qualifications High School DiplomaThree years’ experience in deveopmental disabilities/behavioral health area preferred with supervisory experience.Valid driver’s license along with an acceptable driving status. Use of a reliable vehicle, which seats two passengers. Additional specific experience may be required.
