Position Overview:

QI Specialist supports the safe and efficient operating of the Child Welfare and Close to Home Programs by providing a variety of QI tasks. Specialist will manage and analyze the program data to assist in meeting the regulatory needs; will also use data and results of site and record reviews to help improve the quality of services provided to the youth in program.

Position Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree in human services or 3+ years of experience social services/child welfare field, required.

· Strong computer skills with strengths in MS Office, OCFS applications, required.

· Strong inter-personal, multi-tasking and organizational skills, required.

· Experience in Residential Treatment with high-risk youth, required

· Valid Driver’s license, required.

· Ability to physically walk extended distances and negotiate several levels stairs, required.

· Two (2) years QI/QA related experience preferred.

· Excellent grammar and writing skills.

· Demonstrated critical thinking, patience and flexibility in working with others.

Strong ability to lead, develop and train others.

· Proficient in Spanish conversation and writing, ideal.
