This position is responsible for assisting with the product development cycle and inventory management for retail locations throughout Hershey Entertainment and Resorts. This position will focus on our resort segment.

Job Duties (Items marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this position):
Buy retail merchandise for several categories supporting the retail outlets within Hershey Entertainment and Resorts by identifying, preparing, and implementing brand relevant assortment plans for identified product categories. Research vendors, merchandise, and sourcing options to identify solutions that meet established cost, quality, and volume requirements.*
Participate in store planning sessions by providing input based on knowledge of inventory selection and sourcing options.*
Partner with operations and leadership team(s) to analyze/evaluate and update product assortments as dictated by business results and product innovation and trends.*
Define standards and specifications to support execution and achievement of business performance goals and superior guest experience. Train operations team on merchandising and visual presentation standards as related to specific brands including product knowledge, sales, and customer service skills.*
Monitor vendor compliance and performance against pricing, quality, and delivery standards; work directly with vendors to correct basic performance gaps referring more significant performance issues to leadership.*
Review and approve the use of logo art, in accordance with company guidelines, refer approval of non-company licensed images to the appropriate sources for approval.*
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of related experience.
Must have a valid Driver's License
Completion of high school or GED
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
Proficient working with details on a daily basis for prolonged periods of time.
