Resource Development Specialist
Overview The Resource Development Specialist reports directly to the Resource Manager and is specifically accountable for ensuring that all independent contractor interpreters are equipped with the necessary resources to fulfill their work orders and have access to professional development opportunities. This role is also responsible for planning and coordinating various program wide special projects, and initiatives. Essential Job Duties Plans and coordinates priority projects and initiatives as assigned by the Resource Manager Assists in the development and implementation of program policies, processes, procedures and monitoring the achievement of program objectives Coordinates efforts with various program departments, to include Operations, Quality Management, Testing, and Finance, and corporate support teams including Recruiting and Procurement Communicates with program and corporate stakeholders in support of directed activities Utilizes various Microsoft suite products and other databases to achieve assigned tasks Develops and maintains program files and program databases per direction of the Resource Manager Collects and analyzes information and prepares reports regarding program metrics and operational activities Coordinates, schedules, and provides logistical arrangements for conferences and meetings, including but not limited to assembling background materials, record of proceedings, etc. Maintains appropriate records of research methods and results of data collection in written reports Leads project teams as assigned or required by the Program Manager Performs other duties as assigned by the Program Manager Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree preferred, in business management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, totaling seven years’ of experience directly related to program and/or project management support services Advanced computer and software proficiency to include the use of Microsoft Suite applications, i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook Experienced at relationship management using effective and efficient communication, interpersonal and organizational skills Mission first approach to executing role requirements Excellent oral and written communication skills, including developing and delivering presentations Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Ability to navigate internal and external stakeholder networks Ability to exercise change management techniques in high ops tempo environment. Prior experience working in support of Federal, state and local agencies Work Environment Requires periods of non-traditional work hours which may include consecutive nights or weekends when necessary May require ability to lift/and or move objects or packages of up to 25 lbs May require up to 25% travel in support of assigned tasks and responsibilities
