Your Role
Gensler’s Dallas office is seeking a temporary part-time (24 hours) Resource Center Coordinator. This Resource Center Coordinator will assist the Regional Resource Director with maintaining the Design Library and enhancing project results through the following responsibilities.
What You Will Do
Vendor Relations
Secondary point of contact with all vendors who reach out and visit Gensler, which includes scheduling vendor presentations, weekly breakfast fairs, appointments, events and communicating needs of design teams
Update and manage vendor directory
Library Maintenance
Maintain, catalog and organize a Resource Center full of current samples
Assist designers in locating materials and information
Research products that support our sustainability goals (learn more about the Gensler Cities Climate Challenge (GC3) here)
Sort and file new materials
Ensure all borrowed materials are returned to the library and filed appropriately
Manage sample returns, including sorting, packing and shipping materials or arranging for vendors to pick up materials
Coordinate with interior design schools to pick up extra samples
Product Trends and Office Support
Assist in coordinating library product displays by curating rotating educational content (furniture, textiles, flooring, lighting, etc.)
Help manage project palette reservations in the Design Center
Your Qualifications
Must be organized, proactive, and self-motivated
Excellent communication skills and a hospitable disposition
Must be able to prioritize and focus in a very fast-paced environment
Enthusiastic and capable team player interested in contributing, learning, and growing
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Former workplace/design firm experience a plus
Active member of local design community a plus
Ability to lift 20+ pounds
