This role contributes to overall firm productivity and promotes a positive work experience for all our Client Service levels. Relationships and attention to detail are key to success in this role and the incumbent will partner with practice leadership, engagement managers, staff, human resources, and internal accounting to promote people development and maximize utilization. The Resource Management Senior will work to balance business needs with economic and operational considerations as well as people development.Individuals who thrive at Moss Adams exhibit the following success skills – Collaboration, Critical Thinking, Emotional Intelligence, Executive Presence, Growth Mindset, Intellectual Curiosity, and Results Focus.Responsibilities:Strategically assign staff to projects with a focus on client needs and professional development to effectively leverage all resourcesEffectively troubleshoot and resolve intermediate scheduling conflicts and escalate as necessaryProactively collaborate with client service teams to improve utilization by creatively filling open time, creating capacity and/or anticipating availabilityAct as change agent for the scheduling process and continually recommend process improvementsDevelop relationships with staff to understand their goals and areas of development to align with client needs and engagementsCommunicate and collaborate across locations to share staff resources and best practicesCompile and analyze reports such as scheduled hours vs budget, utilization, and projections to help manage our businessIdentify trends and communicate issues in talent management such as skill gaps, demand for new skill sets, potential training needs and other needs to increase staff effectivenessPartner with HR and leadership to address performance issues and career development of staff at all levelsIdentify and take action to continuously improve, apply innovation and lead at all levelsPlan and implement people strategies that align with business objectivesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in Human Resources, Business or a related field preferredMinimum of 3 years of related experience required; experience in project management or resource management a professional services industry preferredMust be legally authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis upon hire. Moss Adams will not consider candidates for this position who require sponsorship for employment visa status now or in the future (e.g., H-1B status)Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing assignmentsStrong analytical and problem solving skills; previous experience with conflict resolution preferredDemonstrated understanding of project economics such as budgeting, leverage ratios and/or profitabilityAbility to handle confidential information, apply tact and discretion in sensitive situationsAbility to effectively communicate across various levels and to manage delivery of difficult messagesAbility to travel locally as needed, approximately 20%
