Who you are?
We are seeking a resourceful and collaborative Resource Manager in Mexico City to solve complex staffing, allocation, and utilization challenges. The ideal candidate will have a knack for finding the right project for the right person at the right time while fostering strong relationships with team members and internal stakeholders. Additionally, they will be able to prioritize tasks, work independently, and communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
What you’ll do?
As a Resource Manager within the RMO, you'll play a vital role in optimizing resource allocation and utilization, collaborating closely with the PMO and key stakeholders.
In the first three months, your focus will be on gaining a solid understanding of the organization's strategic goals, mastering resource management tools, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders. Additionally, you'll lead staffing meetings to ensure optimal resource allocation.
Within the next six months, you'll delve deeper into resource optimization, implementing strategies to improve resource utilization and reduce idle time. You'll also develop accurate forecasting models to anticipate future resource needs and proactively address potential shortages. Moreover, you'll contribute to strategic planning discussions, ensuring that resource allocation aligns with the organization's overall objectives.
At one year you will be supporting leadership, mentoring junior team members and helping drive initiatives to improve resource efficiency. You'll also establish yourself as a subject matter expert in resource management, providing valuable insights and guidance to the team. By leveraging your expertise and leadership skills, you'll contribute significantly to the success of the Delivery Services organization.
Responsibilities:
Review and help manage resource plans and forecasts
Analyze resource availability and utilization
Facilitate staffing requests and prioritize resource allocation
Identify and resolve resource conflicts
Monitor and improve resource management processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize resource utilization
Identify and address underutilized resources
Track and report on resource utilization metrics
Conduct regular reviews of resource performance and timekeeping
Analyze utilization trends and implement improvement strategies
Work with stakeholders to optimize resource allocation and productivity
Requirements:
5+ years of professional work experience
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional communication, influencing and analytical skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Smartsheet and other relevant tools.
Familiarity with PSA and resource automation systems (Upland PSA and Certinia).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred:
2-3 years of experience in resource management or a related field (workforce management), preferably in a professional services environment.
RMCP Certification a plus
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent work experience

Travel:
Ability to travel to Austin, Texas Head Quarters for annual offsites and training as needed
