We are now looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Resource Manager for our Engineering Manager Discipline, to join our team on a permanent basis.
The preferred location for this position is Asker/Norway, Gdynia/Poland or Valencia/Spain. As the team is located in all these locations regular travel will be required.
What will you be doing?
As a Resource Manager your accountabilities include:
Developing competence in accordance with the strategic objectives Securing the ‘right person in the right place’ - coordinating resource management between the various tasks and projects Ensuring that internal work processes and procedures are followed
In this position your work will focus on these responsibilities:
- Execute Development Discussions, mid-year review and competency assessment/development, coaching, feedback, rewarding etc.
Learning & Development - Induct, plan and execute competency development activities for the group of employees
- Develop the organization to execute effectively
- Maintain optimum manning with the right qualifications within the Engineering manager team
Drive understanding for processes developed by the Technical discipline manager and general company procedures Create motivation and engagement trough active leadership
The below will enable you to shine in this role:
BSc or MSc in a relevant field, or qualified by equivalent experience People focus Demonstrable understanding of system Engineering Working knowledge of multiple Engineering Disciplines Understanding of the impact from Engineering to Lifecycle cost and effectiveness, and the impact you can have on this Practical understanding of project management and project execution Safety focused mindset Excellent communication skills and a customer centric approach, with a successful track record in customer interactions Gravitas and credibility briefing and presenting across the business Collaborative team leader with a high degree of initiative, drive, accountability, judgment, innovation, creativity and flexibility Appreciation of cultural differences, working across a Global market Fluency in English, both written and verbal
