Compensation includes a base salary of $88,300.00 - $147,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, and abilities. Cox Automotive is undergoing a transformation of our pay, timekeeping, and scheduling practices. This role will support the design and implementation of a scheduling capability across our Manheim business unit. Collaborating with our system integration partner, the individual in this role will connect the scheduling process work by function to the advanced scheduling module in UKG Pro Workforce Management. This will require an understanding of the Manheim business and our various non-exempt functions, the features within the UKG Pro Workforce Management suite, and process design principals to support tool utilization. Success in this role will include a successful deployment of the UKG Pro Workforce Management advanced scheduling module in 2025 and 2026 as well as utilization of the tool to drive labor optimization across our production organizations.
Implementation of UKG Pro Workforce Management – 2025
Support determination of business functions that can benefit from automated and volume-based scheduling capabilities.Collect information to enable configuration of the UKG scheduling module.Assist in mapping current state scheduling processes across the organization.Collaborate with product leads to understand available data integrations and help develop plans to integrate additional data sources where necessary.Support the design of processes for labor scheduling enabled by the deployment of new timekeeping tools.Work alongside operations leaders to determine which features should be utilized and how they should be configured and administered.Aid in the deployment of the advanced scheduling module at the sites together with change management resources.Consider employee experience impacts when supporting the design and implementation of any timekeeping and schedule-related processes along with the new system.2026 and Beyond
Act as a liaison to technology for enhancement requests and tool optimization.Promote the use of the scheduling module and related processes.Support any manual processes required to optimize the scheduling capability.Provide leadership with regular updates on the successes and challenges of scheduling practices.Identify opportunities to improve resource utilization by adjusting shifts.Measure the business value delivered by improvements in labor utilization and efficiency.Collaborate with other members of the workforce analytics organization to align operational planning models with scheduling infrastructure and support ongoing operational planning efforts.Work with various regional and corporate support teams within Cox Automotive (Operations Support, Product, Technology, Finance, HR, Safety, Security, etc.) to ensure effective and efficient operational processes that align with company objectives and deliver high-quality client service and support.Required Experience & Specialized Knowledge and skills
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 6 years’ experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master’s degree and 4 years’ experience; a Ph.D. and 1 year of experience; or 10 years’ experience in a related fieldAbility to socialize ideas and solicit input from stakeholders in the field as well as cross-functional partners; confident and articulate in presenting those ideas to senior leadersStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to build relationships and influence the direction of our scheduling capability and how it is utilizedDemonstrated ability to build and successfully deploy technology-enabled processesGeneral knowledge of workforce management concepts including demand, capacity, scheduling and skillset managementExperience operating in a matrixed organization with collaboration required between operations, technology, people solutions, finance, and product.Proficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsPreferred:
MBA and 4 years of experienceKnowledge of Manheim auto auction business, core functions and key stakeholdersExperience with UKG Pro Workforce ManagementLarge-scale program or project management experienceDrug Testing
