Respiratory Assistant Posted Date 20 hours ago(9/11/2024 8:33 AM) ID 2024-15152 Position Type Regular Part-Time Location CentraState Medical Center Shift Day Work Schedule 6A-2P Responsibilities Maintains and cleans all Respiratory Therapy and Sleep Center equipment according to protocol.Disassembles and reassembles equipment as required.Maintains pasteurizer & dryer.Maintains proper par levels of respiratory equipment.Responsible for oxygen cylinders: one unit check/day, place order, maintain adequate supply and report problems.Maintains ABG systems including ordering equipment, QC, and troubleshooting issues.Assists in Pulmonary rehab: prepares equipment for each session, obtains vital signs and records for patient, assists patient on exercise equipment and helps watch for patients experiencing difficulty.Assists in EEG: covers the EEG technician when needed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required.Related experience preferred.Basic reading, writing and math skills required.Strong customer service skills. About Us
