Respiratory Care Practitioner

Plans, prepares, and delivers a broad range of respiratory care procedures and diagnostic studies. Documents all respiratory care on appropriate records. Inspects, tests, maintains and operates respiratory care equipment. Completes patient billing.

Required Qualifications: 

Associate's Degree - Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school or equivalent educ/experience Bachelor's Degree from a Respiratory Care Program from an AMA approved school in lieu of an associate degree and 1 year of experience. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire. National Provider PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire. Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire - if practicing within this state or New Mexico Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire - if practicing within this state 1 year of experience (May include clinical portion of training program).

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Flight Training.
