Respiratory Equipment Technician - St. Mary Medical Center in Walla Walla, WA

The Respiratory Care Equipment Technician provides technical support to the department, cleaning and maintaining equipment, maintaining supplies, and stocking work areas. Also performs patient-care related duties, including performing oxygen rounds, taking basic vital signs (heart rate, respiratory rate, and pulse oximetry reading), EKG's, sleep oximetry and downloads, basic home CPAP checks and patient charges.

Shift: Full-Time, 36 hours per week, Variable Shift. 

Required Qualifications:

Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

Coursework/Training: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) course or equivalent educ/experience Coursework/Training: Enrollment in a accredited Respiratory Therapy education program within one year or equivalent educ/experience Previous patient care experience may be considered in lieu of course work/training/education Hospital or other related experience
