What We're Looking ForIs a graduate of a college of pharmacy accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education and is oriented to and knowledgeable in the specialized functions of hospital pharmacists, or has completed a hospital pharmacy residency program accredited by the American Society of Health System Pharmacists. An advanced degree in Pharmacy with an emphasis on management skills is desirable.
Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with a wide variety
of hospital personnel, patients, members of the community and effectively lead
pharmacy personnel.
Analytical skills necessary to prepare and administer budgets, evaluate current
methods of delivering service to patients and assess the effectiveness of these methods, and recommend new techniques and procedures.
