Following the Michael Richards report, in which it was highlighted that diagnostic services should be delivered taking a new approach to provide more accessibility to people in the community, away from acute settings, we at InHealth are excited to be partnering with the NHS to develop new Community Diagnostic Centres across the country to support this vision.

Right now, we are looking to recruit Respiratory Physiologists into the team, to leading our respiratory clinics.
What will you do:As a Respiratory Physiologist, as a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for performing and supporting the reporting of high quality respiratory diagnostic tests.
Undertake a range of diagnostic assessments following ARTP guidelines, including spirometry, gas transfer, static lung volumes, and more. Assist with specialist and complex diagnostic assessments. Produce basic reports and communicate interpretations to the referring medical team and other healthcare professionals. Ensure continual service development and improvement by staying updated on specialist knowledge, obtaining memberships in professional bodies, and participating in national and/or international societies. Maintain the functionality of equipment used in lung function assessments through calibration, validation techniques, and quality assurance procedures. Communicate effectively with patients, participants, service users, and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate performance of investigations. Provide support/mentoring to Trainee Healthcare Scientists Line manage junior team members We are looking for someone who: BSc in Healthcare Science (Physiological Science) or equivalent with a specialisation in Respiratory and Sleep Science. ARTP Professional Qualifications. Current registration with the RCCP or AHCS. Evidence of Continuing Professional Development. Good Clinical Practice.
