Position Responsibilities:
Monitors equipment levels in the Respiratory Storage areas to assist/assure appropriate and timely availability for front line clinical staff Monitors supplies to assure appropriate par levels to optimize availability for front line clinical staff Monitors cylinder levels in Respiratory Medical Gas storage area to assure proper par level Conducts cylinder rounds throughout Medical Center to assist Patient Care units in the proper storage, signage and securing of cylinders. Assure proper securing of all medical gas cylinders in the main facility Assures ventilator re-processing areas are stocked and cleaned. Assure that satellite storage areas have appropriate par levels for all RT equipment Assures that all areas (outside of the Respiratory Department) have appropriate supply levels. Assist Project Managers and RT personnel with all medical gas shutoffs as required. Assist in education required to any medical center employees to assure proper procurement, securing, and storage of all medical gases. Notifies Respiratory Director of any irregularities, safety, or compliance concerns related to storage and maintenance of medical gases. Other related duties as needed.Qualifications:
Student enrolled in a 2 or 4-year Accredited Respiratory Care Program. Midpoint or later in RT program (preferred)Benefits:
