the Supervisor responsible for performing a wide variety of duties to assist in the delivery of Respiratory Care to patients supporting a safe and positive patient experience Includes patient screening paperwork assisting with patient transport maintaining supplies and providing general assistance to patients and staffKey areas of responsibilityMaintains a thorough knowledge of the operational requirements pertaining to established respiratory therapy protocols to ensure that patient preps orders pre certs consents questionnaires histories and protocol sheets are completed accurately to ensure quality procedure outcomesUpholds infection prevention standardsProvides necessary patient information to Respiratory Therapy staffAssists Respiratory Therapists in the day to day operations of the department by maintaining supply levels in rooms and monitoring equipment to reduce downtimeEnsures patient area is in order and restocks supplies as necessaryAssists in maintaining a clinical environment that is clean safe and free from clutterAssists patients and staff during procedures by helping answer routine patient questionsObserves patients and reports changes in patient condition to appropriate department staffCoordinates patient procedure times with appropriate staffAssists with filing inputting patient information into system collecting and filing documents and
