Conduct physician-prescribed treatments of a routine naturePerform chest physical therapy treatments which involve percussion, postural drainage or suctioning; perform airway management including trach tube changes, Passy-Muir Valve monitoring, and intubation or extubation; set up, operate and monitor ventilatorsRecord resident treatment, education and response to careSubmit accurate billing and documentation in accordance with RT protocol, Scion Health policy and state/federal regulationsConduct in-servicing and competency testing of nursing staffHandle job responsibilities in accordance with the Company's Code of Business Conduct, the Corporate Compliance Agreement, appropriate professional standards and applicable state/federal laws

Qualifications\:

The Therapist must have knowledge of medical terminology, respiratory protocols and RT intervention, and be able to react decisively in emergency situationsWe are looking for a graduate of an AMA-approved school for Respiratory Technology with state licensing as requiredEffective communication with residents, their families and at all levels of the organization is a must.
