Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential opportunity for a Respiratory Therapist to join our dynamic team at the Jennifer Moreno VA Medical Center.
Work Hours:
Pulmonary Respiratory Therapists will be expected to be available 24/7, including holidays.Normal shift for Pulmonary RT's is a 10-hour day and 40 hours per week.Sleep Medicine Respiratory Therapists will be expected to be available Monday through Friday.The normal shift for Sleep Medicine Rts is an 8-hour day and 40 hours per week from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.Staff that works a six (6) hour, or longer, shift shall be entitled to an unpaid thirty (30) minute meal break.
Requirements:
1 year experience, including critical care (if working in Pulmonary)Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Credential issued by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)Lisensure through Respiratory Care Board of CaliforniaCompletion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy (RT) ProgramHave basic computer skills. Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Office Software(e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
