Work Schedule:
80% FTE, 32 hours/week. 8 or 12-hour evening/night shifts scheduled between the hours of 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM and 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM. Weekend and holiday rotation required. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.
Pay:
UW Health offers a competitive compensation and benefits package. Work experience that is relevant to the position will be taken into consideration when determining the starting base pay. This position includes a weekend and shift differential. External hires may be eligible for up to a $8,000 sign-on bonus. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified applicants.

We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RT) to:
Provide treatment and diagnostic respiratory services to patients. Work at an ECMO Center of Excellence and Level 1 Trauma Center. Be an important member of an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care. Act as a resource to physicians and health care professionals. Gain experience within the organization and seek growth opportunities, which may include senior/lead roles and ECMO Specialist positions.At UW Health, you will have:

Education:
Minimum – Graduate of a COARC accredited School for Respiratory Therapy.
Work Experience:
Preferred – Recent respiratory therapist experience preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum –
Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in the State of Wisconsin. CPR Certified. RRT Credentialed by the National Board for Respiratory Care for individuals with greater than six months post-graduation. RRT eligible new graduates must obtain the RRT credential within six (6) months of hire. Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Certification required for any AFCH RT position within six (6) months of hire.
