Responsibilities The ECMO Specialist functions independently following standing ECMO orders and parameters while under the direction of the ECMO Physician and ECMO APP. This role involves providing expert care to critically ill patients, ensuring optimal functioning of the ECMO circuit, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Additionally, you will be actively involved in research, education, and precepting as part of the program’s development. Qualifications Job Requirements: Registered Respiratory Therapist required Respiratory Therapist license to practice in the state of Oklahoma Minimum of 3 years of experience as an ECMO specialist in a critical care setting. BLS ACLS Preferred Job Requirements: Active certification with the state of Texas upon hire only. Recertification upon expiration Perfusion - Certified to practice as a Perfusionist by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion preferred Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree (preferred) in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited education program
