Qualifications

Minimum Education

Associate Degree in Respiratory Care or Science

Minimum Experience

Minimal 3 years experience in critical care setting.Fully competent in three specialty areas with a minimum of 1 year experience in each.

Licensure

Florida RRT license, credentialed by NBRC preferred

Certifications

BLS, ACLS, PALS required.NRP if applicable.

Position Summary

A Registered Respiratory Therapist performs critical and non-critical respiratory care procedures and diagnostics through both physician directives and respiratory care protocols. Selected cross training activities and precepting of students and new staff as directed. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
