Responsibilities

Provides oversight of operations within the Respiratory Care Department during a specific shift including serving as a resource for staff ensuring efficient and effective resource utilization and quality of patient care.

Qualifications

Required 

Three years respiratory care experienceHigh School Diploma/GED and Graduate of an AMA Respiratory Therapy ProgramAZ Board of Respiratory Care Examiners LicenseCertified Respiratory Therapist-CRT from National Board of Respiratory CareAmerican Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life SupportAmerican Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare ProvidersAmerican Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life SupportNRP within 90 days

Preferred

Bachelor's degree Registered Respiratory Therapist

Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.  This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
