Position Highlights:

+ We are a critical access hospital with 25 beds, a new ER, 3 OR rooms, 2 procedure rooms and an attached clinic.

Job Summary
+ You will be responsible for the assessment, treatment, and management, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions affecting the cardiopulmonary system for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, and adults.
+ Ability to demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of respiratory care, which may include, but not limited to oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, airway clearance, blood gases, airway management, non-invasive and invasive ventilator setup and monitoring.
Education and/or Experience
+ Associates degree with a certificate in Respiratory Care required.
+ Bachelor’s degree with a certificate in Respiratory Care preferred.
+ 1-2 years relevant experience preferred.
Licensure/Certification/Registration
+ Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with the National Board of Respiratory Care required.
+ Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Nebraska required.
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
+ Required within 6 months:
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
+ Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
+ Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
+ Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with the National Board of Respiratory Care preferred.
Work Schedule
+ Variable Days Schedule - 9 or 12 hour shifts; 72 hours every 2 weeks
+ Department is staffed from 6:00am-6:30pm
+ Weekend rotation: every fourth (one year advance notice)
+ Holiday rotation: one to two holidays per year; (four year advance notice).
+ Call time: Begins at 6:30 pm- 1 to 2 days/week with an additional day occasionally; housing available across the street from the hospital

Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
+ $26.25 - $39.50 per hour
