Lawrence General Hospital is looking for motivated, self-driven Licensed Respiratory Therapists who love to learn and function as integral members of the healthcare team. As an RT at Lawrence General Hospital, you will work under multiple therapist-driven protocols. You will attend patient care rounds where your input will not only be solicited but expected. You will function as a member of the Code Team, the Rapid Response Team and attend Level 3 infant deliveries. We operate a CAP accredited blood gas laboratory and are responsible for the collection, analysis and reporting of blood samples that are analyzed in our lab. Lawrence General Hospital has recently implemented a brand-new fleet of ventilators, new blood gas analyzers and a new PFT machine.
Under the supervision of the Director of Respiratory Therapy, Supervisors and Charge Therapists, the RT is responsible for respiratory care delivery to the patient population. Responsibilities include critical care, general patient care assignments, and related patient care plans.
Education and Requirements:
• Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory therapist (CRT) from National Board of Respiratory Care.
