Job Responsibilities:

Provides assistance in maintaining supplies and equipment available to ensure efficient operations. Collects equipment from all the areas of the hospital and cleans and reassembles equipment according to proper procedure observing standard precautions. Performs pre-use checks on all ventilator types to ensure proper equipment function and preparation for use. May participate in Quality Improvement Processes for the department; Relates how processes that are being tracked to enhanced care given at the bedside; Takes an active role in developing new ideas for process improvement and assists other personnel in data collection and interpretation. Utilizes resources efficiently and effectively. Provides designated direct and indirect patient care activities.

Additional Requirements:

Education - High School diploma or equivalent; Must be actively enrolled and in good standing in an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program
