Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapy Apprentice works under the direction of a licensed Respiratory Therapist. The Respiratory Therapy Apprentice is responsible for maintaining an appropriate level of equipment in the various respiratory work areas and assisting the Respiratory Therapists with various procedures and tasks, as directed. The Respiratory Therapy Apprentice may be responsible for performing multiple duties that require an expertise in the assembly, transport, disinfection, calibration and troubleshooting of respiratory related equipment.

Qualifications

Required Must be actively enrolled in CoARC accredited RT programRequired High School Diploma or equivalentHealthcare PreferredCRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days preferred
