Looking for a few extra hours per month to work? Exciting opportunity to join our multidisciplinary team as a Respite employee. This position is for the brand new six-bed Crisis Residence located at 8th Street Troy. This facility offers a safe place for the stabilization of psychiatric symptoms and a range of person-centered trauma informed services to support participants. At this short-term stay facility, participants may stay for up to 28 days as they prepare to transition back to the community. You will make significant impact on advancing this comprehensive specialty care residence, and provide meaningful support to the team! Provide coverage as needed. Assist program participants as needs arrive. Provide crisis intervention/emergency assistance for residence. Ensure satisfactory functioning of the facility with light cleaning duties with possible light lifting. May assist with safety routines and check lists for evening shifts. Promote an environment of inclusion and belonging Required: High school diploma or GED and previous experience working with people with mental health issues is required. Reliable transportation. Must be able to pass back ground clearances.
